Which payment options do I have?

You will have the following payment options at the webshops of Lange e-retail:

Via iDEAL; This payment option is only available to customers with a Dutch bank account.

Via prepayment; You can tranfer the total amount to our bank account by utilizing the payment information as stated on the confirmation of an order. It will take approximately 5 workdays for us in order to process a prepayment.

Via internet banking; Make the payment by utilizing the payment information (e.g. giro number or IBAN / BIC number) as stated on the confirmation of an order. Please do not forget to state your transaction ID! This will help us to correctly and quickly process your payment.

NOTE: Always pay your orders separately and state your transaction ID. This is because if you add up outstanding amounts in order to pay them all at once, we can not guarantee you that your payment will be processed correctly.

What is iDEAL?

Though iDEAL is only available to customers with a Dutch bank account, we will still try to explain to you what iDEAL actually is. Several large banks in the Netherlands cooperated in order to develop iDEAL, which is basically a payment method that provides customers with the oppertunity to make safe online payments very quickly and very convenient. A customer makes the actual payment in a familiar online payment environment, namely that of his or her own bank. If the customer has a Dutch bank account he or she will be able to use iDEAL, without the need of going through an extra registration / login process.

The advantages:

  1. iDEAL is as familiar, safe and convenient to use as regular internet banking
  2. iDEAL is supported by the large Dutch banks
  3. Access to internet banking of one these participating banks will be sufficient enough in order to make use of iDEAL
  4. Control over and an overview of the payment
  5. iDEAL is developed by ABN AMRO, ING Bank, Postbank and Rabobank

How does iDEAL work?

A customer places an order, he or she will then be able to select iDEAL as the payment method. Then the customer has to click the iDEAL-payment button and select his or her bank. The customer will then be refered to his or her own bank where the payment order stands ready. The customer will then be asked to fill in the necessary information and finally authorize the payment. The payment will then be made directly and the customer’s order will be processed by us immediately.
